Welcome to PumpOptix
SenseQ Ltd. (“SenseQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates PumpOptix, including the PumpOptix mobile app, connected PumpOptix devices, and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use PumpOptix.
1. Information We Collect
We collect and receive the following information to provide PumpOptix:
- Account and home information. Your name, email address, account identifier, home name, address, city, province or state, postal or ZIP code, country, time zone, and measurement preferences that you provide or maintain in PumpOptix.
- Connected-device information. PumpOptix device identifiers, device name, firmware version, online or offline status, configuration and calibration status, network and connection status, signal-strength or diagnostic information, and device commands such as calibration and firmware-update requests.
- Pump activity information. Pump start and stop times, pump run durations, current running state, and historical daily or monthly pump activity generated by your connected PumpOptix device.
- Mobile-app and notification information. A locally generated app/device identifier, platform, operating-system and device-model information, app version, and push-notification token when you enable notifications.
- Photos you choose to provide. Photos captured in the app during device installation or setup, including device-identification and installation photos. Camera access is requested only when you use a feature that needs it.
- Bluetooth and nearby-network setup information. PumpOptix uses Bluetooth to discover, connect to, and configure a nearby PumpOptix device. On Android, the app may request location and nearby-device permissions needed by the operating system for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi setup; PumpOptix does not use these permissions to track your location.
2. Wi-Fi Credentials
To connect a PumpOptix device to your Wi-Fi network, you enter a network name and password in the app. The app transfers these credentials directly to the device over Bluetooth so it can join your network. The app does not send the credentials to the SenseQ backend as part of this setup transfer.
3. How We Use Information
- To create and manage your account, homes, connected devices, and access permissions.
- To provide pump activity, current pump state, device status, calibration, firmware updates, and related PumpOptix features.
- To deliver notifications that you choose to receive about PumpOptix and its connected devices.
- To install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve PumpOptix and its connected devices.
- To respond to support requests, investigate service or security issues, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
4. Notifications
If you allow notifications, PumpOptix registers a push-notification token and limited app and device information with our service so that we can deliver notices to your device. We use Firebase Cloud Messaging, a Google service, to deliver these notifications; on Apple devices, delivery also involves Apple’s push-notification service. You can change notification permissions at any time in your device settings.
5. Sharing of Information
We share information only as needed to operate PumpOptix or when required by law:
- With service providers that provide hosting, infrastructure, security, email, and push-notification delivery services for PumpOptix.
- With people you authorize to access a shared PumpOptix home or its connected devices.
- When required to comply with law, enforce our rights, or protect the safety and security of users, PumpOptix, or others.
6. Retention, Security, and Account Deletion
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide PumpOptix, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and maintain security.
A home owner can request deletion from the Home Profile screen in the PumpOptix app. Deleting a home cannot be undone. If the deleted home is your only PumpOptix home, the app will also delete your account; the device associated with that home becomes available to be added to another home. If you have more than one home, deleting one home does not by itself delete your account. For assistance with a deletion request, contact us at the address below.
7. Your Choices
You can update home information in the app, manage notification permissions in your device settings, and use the in-app deletion option described above. You may also contact us to request access to or correction of personal information, subject to applicable law.
8. Children’s Privacy
PumpOptix is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to PumpOptix, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when PumpOptix or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the “Last updated” date.
